Metatrader Indicators

There are thousands of Mt4 indicators for the MegaTrader 4 platform, and you can't possibly use them all. There are a few, however, that stand out as being the best in helping you make your trades. Here are our picks for some of the top indicators.   Advanced_ADX indicator When the histogram shows green, then buy; when the histogram is red, then sell.       Color_Stochastic.mq4 How to Use: This indicator shows overbought and oversold levels. Readings above 80 indicate that the market is overbought and the Stoch line will turn green; alternatively, if the readings are below 20, the market is oversold and the Stock line will turn red.       FX_Multi-Meter_II.mq4 How to Use: This is an all-in-one that combines several critical indicators into one. It displays overbought/oversold indicators, Stochastic Oscillators, moving trends, overall buy and sell recommendations and much more. If you only use one indicator, make it this one.       Forex_Freeway_2.mq4 How to Use: This is based on the CCI indicator, and actually analyzes several CCI from several different time frames. There are four 'roads' and are read from left to right: 15 minutes, 30 minutes, one hour and four hours. When all four CCIs 'agree' on a trend it signals the trader to enter the market.  When all four are green, buy; when all four are red, sell.             Gann_HiLo_Activator_v2.ex4 How to Use: When the indicator dips below the price it signals an uptrend and a good time to buy; when the indicator dips above the price it signals a downtrend and is a good time to sell. The Gann Activator will help you to pin point and follow trends from all of the time frames. It can help to keep you in a trade longer, without panicking.         There are of course many more Mt4 indicators, and you may find others that suit your needs just as well. Many traders try various indicators and experiment with them before choosing a few that fits with their trading methods.
